Our project follows organic cotton farmers throughout the cotton season: from soil preparation to cotton harvest. It is quite natural that our first training field, which will be held in June, will focus on soil preparation.

During this field school, we will have the presence of our partner Eléphant Vert Sénégal who will give us a presentation on its flagship products: Organova (organic fertilizer) and Ovalis (bacteria used to increase soil fertility). We will also have an intervention of the partner VERATECH Senegal with a presentation of its biological phytosanitary products.

At the end of this first field school, each farmer should be able to:

– Know the type of soil that constitutes his field

– Know the quantity of organic fertilizer to apply on his field

– Know the elements necessary for a fertile soil
